Larry Carpenter - Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Larry brings more than three decades of publishing leadership and industry expertise to Clovercroft Publishing Group, helping authors turn powerful ideas into professionally produced books.
His publishing journey began after earning his MBA, leading to senior leadership roles with major industry players including Ingram’s Christian Resources division and Standard Publishing, where he oversaw sales, marketing, and strategic growth. Larry went on to launch FaithWorks, one of the first full-service Christian products distributors, and later founded Christian Book Services.

In 2014, he launched Clovercroft Publishing, extending his deep expertise beyond religious markets to support authors of business, memoir, self-help, children’s, and general interest titles with best-in-class publishing, distribution, and marketing services.

Larry’s leadership is defined by strategic insight, a commitment to empowering authors, and a practical understanding of how to navigate the complexities of publishing — from concept to global distribution. Under his guidance, Clovercroft helps authors maintain creative control while achieving broad visibility and professional success.

Shane Crabtree - Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Shane Crabtree plays a central role in guiding Clovercroft authors through every stage of the publishing journey. With a background in project management from the biomedical field, Shane brings structure, clarity, and steady leadership to the publishing process.

Shane is often the first point of contact when authors have questions, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and confident from manuscript to finished book. What he enjoys most is witnessing the moment an author holds their book for the first time—a milestone that never loses its impact.
A lifelong reader, Shane’s love of books was shaped early on by his parents: a mother who owned a bookstore and a father who taught English. He holds a B.S. in Physics from Wright State University and an M.S. in Biostatistics from Middle Tennessee State University, bringing both analytical rigor and deep appreciation for storytelling to his work.
Outside of Clovercroft, Shane is a devoted family man who enjoys travel, sports, and—unsurprisingly—getting lost in a good book.

We are looking for manuscripts that are captivating and candid, and authors who want to tell their story on their own terms.
